As a member of the Recruitment Team, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator plays an integral role in supporting FPCS recruitment and staffing initiatives. The Coordinator is highly skilled in recognizing best-in-class talent that demonstrates critical teacher and leadership competencies and is able to effectively screen candidates with reference to the organization’s mission, expectations, and needs. Furthermore, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator exudes a strong commitment to the students we serve and is passionate about ensuring that ALL of our children are exposed to a staff of exemplary education professionals.
Please note the salary range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Identify and recruit highly skilled professionals committed to serving in an urban setting, demonstrate proven effectiveness, and subscribe to the organization’s overall mission and educational philosophy
- Support the recruitment of top talent for the organization
- Collaborate with the People Team to ensure the accurate and timely staffing of instructional vacancies
- Act as an FPCS representative at recruitment-related events such as interview days, fairs, and networking events to target and engage with ideal candidates as needed
- Engage with prospects in a manner that provides critical information about FPCS teacher and staff expectations
- Manage and coordinate appropriate steps in the selection process for assigned candidates
- Conduct assigned phone interviews to effectively screen candidates based on key values and skill-related indicators
- Maintain a sense of urgency in recruitment efforts to effectively meet staffing needs and targets on time
- Maintain a strong partnership with the Talent Acquisition team to meet the overall staffing needs of the organization

Responsibilities:

- Pre-screening and identifying qualified candidates for the talent Associates/Managers
- Security Officers
- Pre-screening and identifying qualified candidates for the talent Associates/Managers
- Food and Nutrition
- Associates and Supervisors
- Office of Extended Learning
- AGL - Assistant Group Leaders
- GL - Group Leaders
- Extended Day Coordinator
- Maintain and update job postings on the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and external job boards
- Schedule phone, virtual, onsite interviews, and group interviews
- Monitor, update, and manage job descriptions and job postings
- Track, monitor, and update candidate information in the ATS
- Track, monitor, and update talent acquisition key performance indicators
- Drive and uphold recruiting processes for vacant positions
- Drive sourcing efforts and build talent pipelines for key roles
- Drive candidate engagement strategy, communicating with active and passive candidates
- Participate in marketing and communication planning with the goal of strengthening the organization’s brand and reach
- Monitor and update talent acquisition newsletter listserv
- Participate in ad-hoc recruiting projects
- Provide general administrative assistance as needed
- Own and assist with prep-work related to interview days and webinars, which will include, but is not limited to:
- Resume folder updates/uploads
- Bulk messaging to candidates regarding details around next steps and events
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Experience in the role preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Highly personable with a strong customer service mindset
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Able to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
- Tech-savvy and comfortable working within systems
- Comfortable communicating with all levels of the organization
- A multitasker who is comfortable wearing many hats!
Preferred Qualifications (In addition to aforementioned):
- Experience with iCIMS and recruiting software tools
- Working knowledge and interest in social media tools
