Responsibilities

- Hold high academic and behavioral expectations for all students
- Must be able to lead students to high levels of academic success in an urban school environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement effective curriculum units and lesson plans
- Design and deliver engaging instruction that addresses the needs of a full range of different student learning styles
- Ability to reflect on teaching practices and make adjustments to maximize learning time
- Adhere to school management and discipline policies within the classroom and throughout school campus
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 and above preferred
- Commitment to teaching students from a minority and/or lower socioeconomic background required
- Urban teaching experience preferred
