Compensation and Total Rewards Philosophy

Our Compensation and Total Rewards philosophy is guided by four principles:

1. Student-Achievement Focused
Our compensation and total rewards philosophy is grounded in student achievement and the attainment of organizational goals.

2. Clarity and Transparency
Our structure is clear and transparent so that staff understand what comprises their compensation, see the range they can potentially earn, and understand their total rewards (benefits and recognition opportunities).

3. Competitiveness
We strive to offer competitive compensation and rewards that meet or exceed regional charters and districts. Staff compensation is commensurate with each individual’s experience, educational credentials, and responsibilities. A fair and competitive compensation and total rewards structure is aligned with our Best Place to Work and Learn commitment.

4. Equity
We regularly review data and compensation processes to ensure staff do not experience differences in their compensation based on gender, race, and other demographic factors.
